The company Onwork – Technical and Functional Wear, Lda was founded on 27 July 2012. The main mission is the development, promotion and marketing of hi-end products, for the universe of the professional clothing market and individual protection, offering a response to customer expectations in terms of innovation and product quality, converging to their satisfaction and value creation.

The company was the result of an innovative project, under the Inova Têxtil program in 2012, an own brand was created and registered, NoStain, whose main goal was to produce the first work uniform with high resistance and repellency to all aqueous and oily based dirt.

The company started its activity in the CITEVE’s RTD High Performance Centre, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, a privileged location in this phase of development and maturation of the company, due to the proximity with institutions linked to innovation, such as CITEVE or ATP or CENTI, and the added possibility of establishing partnerships capable of adding value to the products that are marketed. The company is currently based in Guimarães, close to the most representative locations in the north of the country.

Since its foundation, innovation has been present in Onwork’s genesis, and also because the company is directed to two specific target markets, namely the Industry sector and the Firefighters and Civil Protection, within the scope of the Inova Têxtil 2013 competition, the Forest PT firefighting protective suit in natural spaces was developed, according to the European standard EN 15614:2007, characterized by fabrics and other fire-retardant materials with grammage and anti tear structure suitable for use in more hostile environments.
